At Abundant Harvest LIFT Church, the Love of God is at the heart of everything we do. We all come from different walks of life but all agree that the Word of God is life changing. Some of us are younger and some of us are older but what we all have in common is the love of God for each other.

As different as we are and amidst all the distinctions to be drawn between us, the Gospel is the common thread that weaves us together. We purpose to be a Word Centered, and hopefully culturally diverse, multi-ethnic, inter-generational church.

 

Most of the time, when we think of “church,” we think of Sunday. We think of rows of seats and songs and sermons… but if that’s where our definition of “church” ends, a full expression of the church never begins. We are meant for more than Sunday mornings. We are meant to live out God's Kingdom plan. 

 

There is more to the church than sitting in rows. We, the church, have been planted to Grow. Not just higher or wider, but deeper. We exist to fully express the love of Jesus Christ to the community we are planted in. This is what we are called to: more than Sundays… more than songs… more than sermons. We are called to be more than consumers and more than spectators. Our God has called us to be producers, initiators and co- creators. And here’s the best news of all: we have been called out to give of ourselves freely as our God freely gave Himself for us. We have been called to a fuller expression of “church”… one that responds to Christ’s call to love our neighbors as ourselves.
